CASIO at BASELWORLD 2008

CASIO operated a booth at BASELWORLD 2008 from April 3 to 10, 2008.

In 1974, CASIO Computer Co., Ltd. launched the "Casiotron," the world's first digital watch featuring a full auto calendar, thus establishing a completely new concept of value for wristwatches. In the years since, we have made full use of our innovative thinking and unique technologies to develop and market a long line of original watches with unprecedented functions and ingenious designs. By presenting the world with one unique, original CASIO brand after another, we have continued to lead the digital watch industry.

Some 70 CASIO watch models representing the theme of "Moving Time Forward: Evolution of the Concept of Time and Watches" were on display at BASELWORLD 2008. Each combines a unique movement applying advanced electronic technologies with an original design that supports these technologies to express the possibilities for new user benefits CASIO watches have created.
