Smart Design A new tough watch design incorporating twin sensors in a shock-resistant body

Centre shaft design

A centre shaft design with the pressure sensor and measurement button positioned on the left and right sides of the case has been adopted to optimise convenience. We drew inspiration from various types of specialised gear to realize a uniquely rugged yet stately tough design.

Large measurement button

A large, dedicated altitude measurement button is positioned on the right side of the case to permit instantaneous measurements.

ALTI/BARO display

A red circle encloses an altitude/atmospheric pressure tendency graph, and a pace arrow indicates altitude and atmospheric pressure differences. Together, these enable the wearer to check conditions at a glance.

Case back design

The case back is designed to minimise uneven contact with the wrist and reduce restrictive pressure resulting from muscular contractions. The band employs concavo-convex shaping to expel sweat and enhance comfort.

Intelligent Timing Newly developed Multi Band 6 shock-resistant pressure-sensor structure

⦁3-layer protective structure
The pressure sensor, a delicate precision part, is effectively guarded by a 3-layer protective structure. CASIO has succeeded in installing this sensitive pressure sensor while maintaining 20-bar water resistance and shock resistance.

⦁Shock-resistant sensor structure
The GW-9200 is equipped with miniaturised, high-sensitivity pressure and temperature sensors developed specially to avoid sacrificing its G-SHOCK shock resistance. This is yet another example of G-SHOCK's constantly evolving toughness technologies.

⦁Slit bezel structure
We devised a special slit in the urethane bezel surrounding the metal sensor cover to let air required for atmospheric pressure measurement into the pressure sensor. The front of the sensor is guarded by the protective structure to prevent physical damage.

The World's First* Multi Band 6
