2-Line Display
The display panel is comprised of a 2-Line Display. The upper line has a 12-digit dot display, the lower line with a 10-digit seven-segment display.
The equation is displayed on the upper line, with the solution displayed on the lower line. Therefore it is always possible to obtain the correct solution of the equation.
The LCD is equipped with two lines; the upper line provides 12-digit dot display and the lower line, 10-digit seven-segment display. Simultaneous display of the entered expression and its solution in each line respectively prevents inappropriate solutions resulting from wrongly entered expressions.
When you calculate the volume of a sphere with a 2cm radius, the equation and solution are shown at the same time.
The 2-Line, S-V.P.A.M Series adopt 5x6-dot, 12-digit display for the upper line, and easy-to-see seven-segment, 10-digit display for the lower line. The expression being entered is displayed by dots in the upper line and the solution, by seven segments, in the lower line.
The entered expression and its solution can be displayed independently in each line. This means the solution, which is used in the next calculation, remains visible for your confirmation when you enter the next expression.
The equation and solution are displayed on different lines in the same screen, and the solution remains visible when continuing with a next equation.
Using the 2-Line Display, you can continue with successive equations with the previous solution visible on the same screen.
Example: When the price of a refrigerator is for example, $1,500, this price will include an expected revenue of 20% of the cost. If you want to discount the price, and change the expected revenue to 10% of the cost;
First, calculate the cost.
Then, add the revenue of 10% of the cost.
Point
When you continue with the next equation, you will be able to confirm the previous solution.
You can enter minus signs, function symbols, brackets, etc., in the same order as that shown in the textbook.
