QV-2100 QV-2100
In January 2002, CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. will release in Japan the new QV-2100, an entry-level QV Series digital camera that comes complete with bundled accessories and software for image transfer to a computer, attaching images to e-mail, creating image albums, and much more. This all-in-one package lets you start to enjoy digital imaging without needing to purchase additional options.

The QV-2100 comes complete with PC link software and a USB cable as standard. There is no need to purchase a memory card because images are stored directly into built-in flash memory, making this the perfect choice for a first-time digital camera user. The QV-2100 also includes a memory card slot that supports both SD and MMC cards, providing plenty of expandability when storage of more images is required.
Images can be transferred quickly and easily to a computer using the bundled image transfer software and special USB cable. Other bundled applications help to take much of the trouble out of attaching images to e-mail, printing images, and creating image albums.
Main Features
16MB flash memory built in
Built-in flash memory allows storage for about 92 800 x 600 (normal) images, without requiring a separate memory card.
SD/MMC memory card slot
The memory card slot accepts the compact, lightweight SD memory card or MMC when removable media is required. Images can be copied from built-in flash memory to an SD memory card or MMC.
Bundled with PC link software and USB cable
The bundled Photo Loader and Photohands applications make it possible to transfer images from the camera to your computer automatically, to attach images to e-mail, and to print images quickly and easily.

Photo Loader
When the QV-2100 is connected to a computer using the bundled USB cable, images are transferred from the camera to the computer automatically whenever the Photo Loader is started up. Images are automatically inserted into an album and grouped according to the recording date. You can view images using a Web browser. Clicking an images automatically starts up your mail application* and creates a new message with the image attached. The attached image is automatically resized in accordance with a size selection made beforehand.
* Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora
Photohands
Clicking a button in Photo Loader starts up the Photohands application. Photo Hands also includes retouching tools for adjusting color, contrast, brightness, and more.
