| Q1. |
Why can't I establish a USB connection? |
| A1. |
Windows 98 and Me Users |
If USB is not activated when you connect the USB cable after installing the USB driver from the bundled CD-ROM. |
Any of the following can cause a question mark (?) or exclamation point (!) to appear next to the driver name (?CASIO QV DIGITAL, !CASIO DIGITAL CAMERA, etc.) in the Device Driver List.
| o |
Connecting the camera to your computer with the USB cable without installing the USB driver from the bundled CD-ROM |
| o |
Incorrectly installing the USB driver |
| o |
Interruption USB driver installation part way through |
This indicates that the USB driver is not installed correctly. Re-install the USB driver to eliminate the question mark or exclamation point. |
Important!
Before changing any settings on your computer, be sure to back up or make a record of its current settings so you can return to them, if necessary. Incorrectly configuring computer settings can result in failure of your computer to start up properly, or in malfunction of applications and drivers. Be sure to read the user documentation that comes with your computer before changing its settings. If there is something you are unsure of, contact your computer's manufacturer.
