EX-S10, EX-Z80 Spanish, Czech, Norwegian, and Italian Menu Errors |

Errors have been discovered in the Spanish, Czech, Norwegian, and Italian menus of the EX-S10 and EX-Z80 model digital cameras. Update software is now available on our website to fix this problem, so please check the current version of your camera's firmware. If your camera's firmware version is lower than the versions described below, download the newer version and update.
You do not need to update the firmware of your camera it is not one of the versions described here. |

If your camera's firmware is one of the versions on the left, get the latest from the download page and update your camera.
Once found it applicable, please download the latest verison from download pages of below. |

* To check the current firmware version
While holding down the [MENU] key of your EX-S10 or EX-Z80, press the power button to turn on the camera. Keep [MENU] depressed until the version of your camera's firmware appears on the monitor screen.
If your firmware version shows Ver.1.00, you need to update.
You do not need to update if your current firmware version shows Ver.1.01 or higher. |

| The following explains the locations of the errors for each language. |

| Spanish |
• Delete selection screen [Delete]* and [Cancel] options (playback screen controller key down operation)
• Protect selection screen (PLAY Menu) [On], [Off], and [Cancel] option
• Movie Edit selection screen (PLAY Menu) [Cancel] option
• Copy selection screen (PLAY Menu) [Cancel] option
• Edit Family (REC > Face Recognition > Edit Family) selection screen [Delete] and [Cancel] options. |

Selecting [Delete] on the delete selection screen will cause all images currently in memory to be deleted. Once images are deleted, they are unrecoverable. Remember this if you plan to use your camera without updating. |
