EXILIM EX-Z600 Slideshow Function Fix |

A problem has been discovered with the CASIO EX-Z600 Digital Camera
(Firmware Version 1.00) that could cause a slideshow to stop part way through
and camera key operations to freeze when performing a slideshow while effect
"Pattern 4" is selected.
In order to eliminate this problem, we are hereby issuing a firmware upgrade(Version 1.01). All owners of an EX-Z600 that currently is running EX-Z600 Firmware
Version 1.00 should perform the upgrade procedure described below.

Using the CASIO EX-Z600 Digital Camera (Firmware Version 1.00) slideshow effect
"Pattern 4" for a slide show could cause the slideshow to stop part way through
and camera key operations to freeze. Since key operations are frozen, the only way
to recover is to remove and replace the camera's battery.

The problem can be fixed by upgrading the EX-Z600 firmware to Version 1.01.

To check your current camera firmware version |
 |
 |
 |
With the camera turned off, hold down the [MENU] button as you press the power
button to turn on the camera. That will display your camera's firmware version on
the monitor screen.
