Problems and Countermeasures when using a SanDisk 256MB/128MB SD card or SanDisk 32MB MultiMedia Card
· Using a SanDisk 256MB/128MB SD Card
A SanDisk 256MB/128MB SD card may not be recognized by the camera and the error message "Memory Full" may appear even after the card is formatted by the camera. In some cases, data transfer over a USB connection may not be possible while a SanDisk 256MB/128MB SD card is loaded in the camera. Should you experience any of the above, visit the CASIO download Website, download the EX-S1 or EX-M1 firmware update, and update the firmware of your camera.
· Using a SanDisk 32MB MultiMedia Card
Data transfer over a USB connection may not be possible while a SanDisk 32MB MultiMedia card is loaded in the camera. Should you experience this problem, visit the CASIO download Website, download the EX-S1 or EX-M1 firmware update, and update the firmware of your camera.
EXILIM EX-S1/EX-M1 Firmware Update
Checking Your Current Firmware Version
On your EX-S1 or EX-M1 camera, hold down the [MENU] button as you press the [POWER ON/OFF] switch to turn on the camera. Keep [MENU] depressed until the version of your camera's firmware appears on the monitor screen.
If "Ver.1.00" appears, you need to download the EX-S1 or EX-M1 firmware update and install it on your camera.
If "Ver.1.01" appears, it means that your camera already is running the latest firmware version, so you do not need to install the firmware update.
