Problem |
Photo Loader allows the user to select the following option when transferring images from the camera to the computer: When transferring images from the camera to the computer, Photo Loader provides an option that transfers rotated images in their rotated orientation. Selecting this option causes portrait orientation (rotated) images that are transferred to the computer to be displayed in portrait orientation.
In cases where one of the camera models is being used in combination with one of the applicable Photo Loader versions, portrait orientation images are not displayed correctly by the computer, even though the above option is selected. Also, some of the transferred image data is corrupted and images cannot be displayed. This problem does not affect landscape (unrotated) images, even if the applicable camera models and Photo Loader versions are being used in combination. |

Portrait Orientation (Rotated) Image
The following defines what constitutes a portrait orientation (rotated) image. |
• |
An image recorded using a camera model equipped with an orientation sensor (QV-2000UX, QV-3000EX, QV-3500EX, QV-4000, QV-5700), with the camera rotated 90 degrees. |
• |
An image recorded using the portrait orientation frame of a camera model equipped with a scene mode or BEST SHOT mode (QV-2400UX, QV-2800UX, QV-2900UX). |
• |
An image recorded using the Anti Shake, high-sensitivity, or Business Shot function of the EX-S500, EX-Z110, or EX-Z500, and then converted to portrait orientation using the rotate function. |
