The DT-X7 series handheld terminal wins the wordlwide design competition over 131 entries and 18 nations. An independant institution founded in Hannover Germany - International Design Forum - awards the Casio DT-X7 the Universal Design Award 09. The mission of universal design is to provide, or even guarantee, the greatest degree of independence for users young and old, at work and play.

Casio introduces eight new models of the DT-X30 series with Microsoft's Windows Mobile Ver. 6.1 as the OS. These models feature not only the latest OS available on the market but also superb hardware and software integrated in the currently available Windows CE models of DT-X30 series.
