CASIO WQV Link 2.0 Quick Start Guide

If your computer has a built-in IR port

for details about anything you might need to do to enable IR data communication.

Install the WQV Link 2.0 application on your computer.

Start up WQV Link 2.0.

Windows 98/98SE Users

Check the following procedure to enable IR data communication.

1.Go to the Control Panel and double-click infrared.

2.On the options tab,check Enable infrared communication,click the Apply button and then click the OK button.

3.If a "Infrared" icon appears on your Windows 98 taskbar, it has checked that IR data communication is operating correctly.
Windows Me Users

Check the following procedure.

1. On the Wrist Camera, use the (D) button to enter the IR Mode.
2. Select the PC icon and then press the (F) button to put the Wrist Camera into data communication standby.
3.When the Wrist Camera is close to your computer's built-in IR port, check that a "Wireless Link" icon appears on your Windows Me taskbar.

4.It has checked that IR data communication is operating correctly.
Windows 2000 Users

Check the following procedure.

1.To disable Wireless Link image transfer
- Double-click Wireless Link or click the icon in the task bar to display the Wireless Link dialog box.
- Click the Image Transfer tab.

To install WQV Link 2.0

Start up Windows and place the CD-ROM that comes bundled with the Wrist Camera into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/ Remove Programs.
Click Install (Windows 98, Windows Me) or Add New Programs (Windows 2000). Next, follow the instructions that appear on your screen to navigate to the CD-ROM and run Setup.exe in the WQV Link Ver.2.0 folder.
Click Finish.
When the installer starts up, click Next.
Read the License Agreement that appears, and then click Yes if you agree to be bound by its terms and conditions. This displays the contents of the Read me file.
Make sure you carefully read the contents of the Read me file, and then click Next.
Select the directory where you want to install the application and then click Next.
Select the folder where you want to install the application and then click Next. This starts actual installation.
After installation is complete, click Finish.

Click Start →Programs →CASIO Wrist Camera 2 Software →WQV Link Ver.2.0.
