• In the System Business Unit, the product planning and development functions will be strengthened in order to transform HR (human resource systems) products into a recurring-revenue business. The organization will also be restructured to integrate strategy, promotion, and sales functions in order to improve profitability of PA (handheld terminal) products. 

The personnel change and organizational structure associated with the above restructuring, as well as other structural change, are as follows.

• The HR strategy function of the Enterprise Business Strategic Marketing Department and the HR promotion function of Casio Human Systems Co., Ltd. will each be split off and integrated to establish the HR Business Strategic Marketing Department directly under the System Business Unit.
• The PA strategy and PA promotion functions of the Enterprise Business Strategic Marketing Department will be integrated with the PA System Products Sales Department to create the Enterprise Sales and Planning Department.

• The Business Planning Department will be restructured into a section-level organization.
