Notice of Personnel Change and Organizational Restructuring

TOKYO, November 8, 2024 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced on September 30, 2024, the following organizational restructuring on October 1, 2024.

Main Points of the Organizational Restructuring

  • In order to strengthen global operations as well as operations for each product category under the Global Marketing Headquarters, Casio has established a flat organization structure. In the timepiece category, Casio strengthened customer-oriented marketing and directly-operated e-commerce. 

The personnel changes and organizational structure associated with the above restructuring, as well as other structural changes, are as follows.

Structure after the Organizational Restructuring

|Timepiece Business Unit

  • The section-level organization in charge of business strategy development has been upgraded to a department-level organization and named the Business Planning Department.

|Global Marketing Headquarters

  • The Overseas Sales Division and the Global Marketing and Planning Division have been restructured by product category, and the Timepiece Division, the Educational Solution Division, and the Electronic Musical Instrument Division have been established directly under the Global Marketing Headquarters.
  • The Business Management Department, the Brand Marketing Department, and the Global Sales Department have been established under the Timepiece Division. In addition, the Digital Marketing Department, which integrates some functions of the Digital Innovation Headquarters, has been established under the Timepiece Division.
  • The Strategic Planning Department, the Global Marketing Department, and the Global Business Department have been established under the Educational Solution Division.
  • The Strategic Planning Department and the Global Sales Department have been established under the Electronic Musical Instrument Division.
  • The Global Strategy & Operations Lead Department has been established directly under the Global Marketing Headquarters.
  • Local sales subsidiaries under the Overseas Sales Division has been placed under the direct control of the Global Marketing Headquarters.
