Casio Earns Top Rating in CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment 2024

TOKYO, July 24, 2025—Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today that it has been selected as a Supplier Engagement Leader, the top rating in the 2024 Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) conducted by CDP,^*1 an international environmental non-profit organization.
*1 A non-profit organization that encourages disclosure of environmental impact-related information by companies and local governments. It runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system.

Casio has positioned the realization of a decarbonized society as a key issue in the Casio Group Basic Environmental Policy and has strengthened its efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

As part of these initiatives, Casio has set a target of reducing Scope 3^*2 emissions by 30% by 2030, compared to the base year of fiscal 2019. To achieve this target, Casio is working to appropriately manage its suppliers and strengthen collaboration throughout the supply chain by ensuring implementation of its Procurement Policies, conducting CSR questionnaires, and holding regular meetings and onsite audits.
*2 Indirect greenhouse gas emissions by supplier companies in the supply chain associated with business activities.

In recognition of these initiatives, Casio was awarded the top rating of “A” in the SEA 2024 survey, in which CDP assesses initiatives to address the issue of climate change in corporate supply chains, and was selected as a Supplier Engagement Leader.
