Notice of Personnel Changes and Organizational Restructuring

TOKYO, April 16, 2026 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced on March 31, 2026 the following organizational restructuring, effective April 1, 2026.
Casio has implemented the restructuring to create a more flexible, efficient organizational structure, thereby strengthening business operations.
Main Points of the Organizational Restructuring
- In order to strengthen Sound Business operations and accelerate the expansion of new businesses, Casio has restructured the Sound Business and new business organizations.
- In order to establish medium- to long-term technologies and strengthen the development of new businesses, Casio has restructured the R&D organizational structure, clarifying the functions.
- In order to strengthen the marketing function, mainly in the Timepiece Business, Casio has restructured digital marketing organizations.
The personnel changes and organizational structure associated with the above restructuring, as well as other structural changes, are as follows.

Structure after the Organizational Restructuring
|Sound and Creation Division
- The Sound and New Business Division has been divided to newly establish the Sound and Creation Division, which is responsible for the Sound Business and creator economy domain.
- The Sound and Creation Division has been organized to include the Product Development Unit and the Product Strategy Department.
- The Product Development Unit has been organized to include the Engineering Department and the Development Department.
|New Business Division
- The Sound and New Business Division has been divided to newly establish the New Business Division, which is responsible for accelerating expansion of new businesses in the focus domains and reports directly to the president.
- The New Business Division has been organized to include the Business Strategy Department-1, the Business Strategy Department-2, the Development Department-1, the Development Department-2 and the Welfare Solution Business Department.
|Research & Development Center
- The Innovation Transformation Department and the Technology Development Strategy Department under the Sound and New Business Division have been incorporated into the Research & Development Unit, and the Unit has been renamed the Research & Development Center.
- The functions of the Research & Development Center have been clarified into three: advanced development of existing businesses, new business creation, and core technology development, and the Center has organized to include the Advanced Development Department, the New Business Development Department, and the Advanced Core Technology Development Department.
|Design Center
- The Design Unit has been renamed the Design Center.
|Global Marketing Headquarters
- The UX Management Department of the Marketing Technology Division under the Digital Innovation Headquarters has been incorporated into the Digital Marketing Department of the Timepiece Division.
- The Electronic Musical Instrument Division has been renamed the Electronic Musical Instrument Department, and the Strategic Planning Department and the Global Sales Department under the Division have been eliminated.
|Digital Innovation Headquarters
- The Marketing Technology Division has been renamed the Marketing Technology Department, and the UX Platform Department under the Division has been eliminated.
- The DX Promotion Department has been newly established under the Digital Innovation Headquarters.
- The Collaboration Promotion Department and the Service Development Department have been restructured, and the functions of these departments have been integrated into the DX Promotion Department and the Global IT Governance Department.
