Based on the concept of “Always there for you,” Casio offers “Moflin,” a robotic AI pet that evolves emotionally through daily human contact. Casio has trained original AI models to display emotional capabilities, enabling Moflin to develop more than 4 million different personalities over time, depending on how it is cared for. When you communicate with Moflin, its emotional expressions evolve in various ways, showing joy, anger, grief, pleasure, and more, and it displays reactions just like a real living thing. Going forward, Moflin will provide new value in the mental health market as a source of emotional comfort.

In this business, Casio is leveraging medical-engineering collaboration with the aim of advancing medical care facilitated by image processing and AI analysis. At present, Casio offers a dermatology camera that makes it easy to take pictures of affected areas to help diagnose skin diseases, all in one unit.
